My husband and I and our 4 children currently live in Slovenia. We have been here for 5 years, originally from Staines, Middlesex.

My husband would like to move back to the UK and both agree that Somerset is the ideal location.
Its going to be a huge process, as our children are 1,2,6 and 9 and so one of the most important things is getting them into school (the two older ones).

We have property in Slovenia which we would need to sell and so would rent for a year. So we are looking for a 3 or 4 bed house, if possible with garage as we have lots of 'stuff' with a secure garden, pref not on a main road.

It would be great if anyone with children around the same ages could offer any advise? My husband and I are pretty much on our own so its going to be difficult to view property as soon as it comes available.
